Information we collect

When you use AIForgotYou, we may collect account details such as your name, email address, organization name, and sign-in provider. If you run a free scan, we collect the business you select, public business profile data, website URLs, reviews, ratings, photos, local search results, AI visibility outputs, and related report data.

We also collect limited technical data such as IP address, device/browser information, reCAPTCHA signals, cookies, and usage events so we can secure the service, prevent abuse, and understand how the product is used.

If you verify your phone number to unlock a free report, we use Twilio to send and verify the code. We use phone verification to limit abuse of free reports. Phone numbers may be hashed or otherwise protected for rate-limit and audit purposes.

How we use information

We use information to create and display reports, evaluate AI visibility, compare your business with competitors, save reports to your organization, manage subscriptions, send account and report notifications, improve AIForgotYou, and protect the service from spam, fraud, and unauthorized use.

AI visibility reports may include automated analysis from providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, and Perplexity. These providers process prompts and business information so we can generate report results and recommendations.

Third-party services

AIForgotYou uses trusted service providers to operate the product, including Supabase for authentication and database services, Stripe for billing, Twilio for phone verification, Resend for email, Google Maps/AIForgotYou for business lookup and maps, SerpApi for search data, and AI model providers for analysis.

These providers process information on our behalf or under their own terms where applicable. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies for authentication, security, language, and theme preferences. We may also use analytics or product telemetry to understand usage and improve the service. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of AIForgotYou from working.

Data retention

We keep account, organization, subscription, and report data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account or organization where supported in the app.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. No internet service is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can update account and organization information in the app. You can request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting us. Some data may need to be retained for billing, security, fraud prevention, or legal reasons.
